Patricia San BuenaventuraMs. Patricia Anne R. San Buenaventura obtained her Master of Arts in Public Administration degree with Dean’s Recognition from the International University of Japan in 2014.  She had her Bachelor of Science in Economics degree (2009, cum laude) in the University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. She also has a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma on Environment and Natural Resources Management (2011) from the same university’s open university. Prior to the establishment of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), she was with the National Statistical Coordination Board and was involved in the evaluation of design of statistical surveys and censuses through the Statistical Survey Review and Clearance System (SSRCS) and statistical development programming. She served as chief of the Statistical Standards Division from 2015 to 2020, primarily involved in quality assurance of official statistics, administrative data and data collection initiatives, and other exploratory activities of the PSA such as citizen-generated data and big data for official reporting, among others. Since 2020, she heads the Community-Based Statistics Division, the technical division that oversees the nationwide field operations, setting of standard protocols for data collection and processing, as well as generation of local level statistics through the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS). She has more than 14 years of experience in public service, and was part of the team who prepared the implementing rules and regulations of the Republic Act No. 11315, otherwise known as the Community-Based Monitoring System Act. 

Dr. Kevin Carl P. Santos is an Associate Professor at the Educational Research Area of the College of Education in the University of the Philippines Diliman since 2021. Moreover, he is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Assessment, Curriculum and Technology Research Centre (ACTRC), a partnership with University of Melbourne and University of the Philippines. He finished his Ph.D. in Statistics in the same university last 2018. He was a Visiting Research Scholar at the Graduate School of Education in Rutgers The State University of New Jersey (2015-2016) and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong (2018-2019). Additionally, he has been involved in projects with the Philippine Statistics Authority, Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute, Philippine Institute for Development Studies, Department of Education, and Department of Social Welfare and Development. His research interests include item response theory, cognitive diagnosis modeling, survey sampling, and secondary analysis of large-scale educational assessments.

Gerald Elbert SarzonaGerald currently holds the position of Information Officer III in the Knowledge Management and Communications Division of the Philippine Statistics Authority. In his role, he leads the Online Dissemination Section of KMCD, overseeing the maintenance and regular updates of PSA websites. His team's recent accomplishment includes the enhancement of the PSA Website, ensuring better accessibility and usability for the public. He is a graduate of the University of Rizal System, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems. He continued his pursuit of knowledge by earning a Master's degree in Management from the same institution.

Leih Maruss Sinsay-VillanuevaMs. Leih Maruss Sinsay-Villanueva is a Supervising Research Specialist at the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), and she is the Project Manager for SHARE. She earned her Master of Educational Management degree from the University of the Philippines Manila. Prior to working at PIDS, she was an educator teaching communication, media and information literacy, and management subjects. Her research interests include education policy and teacher development.

Athena Mari SonAthena Son is a Senior and Labor Employment Officer at the Institute for Labor Studies. Her work is underscored by her adept utilization of labor force survey and employment statistics, meticulous analysis and interpretation of these vital data sources, and her invaluable insights on labor market dynamics, employment trends, and challenges towards data-driven labor and employment policies, particularly in the areas of green jobs, youth employment, and skills development.

Donna Tabangin is a licensed Architect and Environmental Planner with twenty-three (23) years of experience in the Applied Sciences as a Faculty of the School of Engineering and Architecture of Saint Louis University (SLU) in Baguio City, Philippines where she taught Design Theory, Professional Practice, Computer-Aided Design and Geographic Information Systems in the graduate and undergraduate programs.  Adjunct to this, she was the Officer-in-Charge of the Engineering and Urban Planning Research Laboratory.  She finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at Saint Louis University and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning at Diliman, Quezon City.  She also has a Diploma in Urban Management for Climate Change from Erasmus University, Rotterdam. She has obtained advanced professional certifications such as Geographic Information Systems for Land Evaluation at the School of Earth Sciences in the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium; Communications and Technology for Disaster Management at the United States Telecommunications Training Institute at Washington D.C.; and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management at Coventry University, United Kingdom.

In 2016, after serving as a researcher in Technology Entrepreneurship and Design at University of California Berkeley, she founded the SLU Incubator for Research, Innovation and Business (SIRIB Center).  This Center has evolved to become a technology hub (“TechHub”) which includes a Digital Fabrication Laboratory (FabLab) and a Technology Business Incubator. This TechHub is one of the first five (5) TechHubs in the Philippines and its mission is to move technology-intimate researches/projects from the academe as well as from the community towards Intellectual Property protection, business mentoring, and commercialization. The hub is also involved in providing technical support to SMEs especially on product development, branding, and design.

She joined public service as the City Planning, Development and Sustainability Coordinator of the Local Government of Baguio in July 2020.  She currently leads the office which is in charge of the formulation of development plans, comprehensive land use plans, project development and monitoring, urban master planning, and creative design for the city.  She has recently obtained her certification for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Cities and Communities Certification Process Pro awarded by the United States Green Building Council.
 

Audrey TabugaDr. Tabuga is a Senior Research Fellow at the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS). She started her nearly two-decade career in policy research as a Research Analyst and then as a Research Associate in the same organization. Her studies are related to poverty reduction, international migration, disability, gender, policy process and social networks. Her current research works are in social protection of Filipino women, social networks of rural communities, and governance. Aubrey holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She finished her Master’s degree at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo, Japan and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines at Los Baños. While at NUS, she received a student achievement award (team category) for a civic-related initiative on youth policy awareness. Aubrey is a co-organizer of the newly-formed Philippine Public Policy Network (PPPN) under the umbrella network – Asia-Pacific Public Policy Network.

Ezra VidarEzra Vidar is a graduating BS Business Economics student from the University of the Philippines. Her thesis "Measuring Fiscal Policy Sustainability in Developing Asia: What does the Markov Switching Augmented Dickey-Fuller Test tell us?" won the 2023 Gerardo P. Sicat Award for best undergraduate paper which she cowrote with her thesis partner Dannah Premacio.

Krista Danielle YuDr. Krista Danielle Yu is a full professor in the School of Economics of De La Salle University. She is also a senior expert at the Oscar M. Lopez Center for Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management Foundation. She is the current head of the Economics and Business Administration under the Social Sciences Division of the National Research Council of the Philippines. Dr. Yu's research activities center on the development of quantitative models for disaster risk and vulnerability analyses, as well as on the economic impact of natural disasters and pandemics. She also works on the application of input-output modelling techniques on post-pandemic recovery, economic complexity, and sustainability issues. She has published more than 50 journal articles and has an h-index of 14 (Scopus). She also authored books entitled “Input-Output Models for Sustainable Industrial Systems“ and “Economics for Babies”. In 2016, Dr. Yu was recognized by Thomson Reuters as the "Philippines' Promising Star in Economics and Business" for producing world-class research in her field. In 2017, Dr. Yu received the Philippine National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) Outstanding Young Scientist Award in the field of Economics. In 2020, she also received the NAST Outstanding Scientific Paper Award.
