Data Reporting Contest (For registered students and non-students only)       
The Data Reporting Contest is an on-the-spot contest on the preparation of data reports using official statistics. The contest aims to highlight the importance of data-driven reporting in journalism and to encourage participants to become more proficient in the use of data. The participants will be given a topic and a set of related statistics as their basis in crafting a compelling report. The report should provide a thorough and informative analysis of the data and offer actionable recommendations or implications for future decision-making.

The contest will help increase statistical literacy and awareness as well as statistical advocacy and dissemination. The infographics should showcase the power of visual communication and the dissemination of knowledge and effectively convey the information or data to its audience.

StatisTiktok Making Contest (Open for All)       
StatisTiktok Making Contest  is a video-making contest which goal is to create short, creative and informative video related to theme “Harnessing the Power of Data and Statistics for Future-ready Filipino and Filipina Youth” of the 2nd Philippine Data Festival (PH Data Fest). The videos may also include commentary or narration to provide additional context and insights related to the abovementioned theme. The Tiktok video entry is intended to make statistics interesting and accessible to a wider audience.

Vest in Stat (Open for All)
Vest in Stat is a game patterned from a TV show segment called “Vest in Spelling” from It’s Showtime! Using vests with attached letters on the front and back flap, the players will spell out their  answers to various statistical questions before time runs out.
