As of 30 September 2023, the total duck laying flock inventory was estimated at 8.49 million birds. This was 10.4 percent higher than the previous year’s same period count of 7.69 million birds.

Central Luzon recorded the highest duck laying flock population of 4.21 million birds as of 30 September 2023. This was followed by Bicol Region and SOCCSKSARGEN with corresponding inventories of 0.71 million birds and 0.60 million birds. These three regions accounted for 64.9 percent of the country’s total duck laying flock population during the period. (Figure 2)
