The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) calls on the city/municipal registrars all over the country to participate in the 2022 Nationwide Search for the Most Innovative Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) for Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS). The submission of entries is an opportunity for the LCROs to showcase the innovation/s implemented by their respective offices including their best practices that paved the way for better services and outputs in the past years, especially during the height of the pandemic.

With the theme: “Improving Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Implementation Strategies through Digital Information”, the activity aims to inspire and to create a culture of innovation and creativity among LCROs. All proposals must be relevant to the CRVS Decade 2015-2024 with focus on process improvements and optimal use of human, financial and physical resources that resulted to enhanced operations and significant improvements in public service delivery.

The top three (3) winners of the 2022 Nationwide Search for the Most Innovative LCRO for CRVS shall also be sharing their success stories and best practices during the 2^nd National Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (2NCCRVS), which is slated to be held on 06 to 07 October 2022 in the National Capital Region. Moreover, the remaining entries shall be showcased through a poster exhibit at the venue.
