Release Date:
This Fisheries Situation Report is released every quarter, which presents the data on the volume and value of production of fisheries during the reference quarter. It contains information on the current situation by major species of the four fisheries subsectors, namely, commercial, municipal and inland fisheries, and aquaculture. The data are the results of the four fisheries surveys regularly conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). These surveys are the following:

This is one of the modular reports of the Agriculture and Fisheries Indicators System (AFIS) which provides information on the movement in the prices of selected agriculture and fishery commodities and marketed shares in the volume of palay produced.

Release Date:
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) serves as the central statistical authority of the government that compiles and generates International Merchandise Trade Statistics (IMTS) or commonly known as Foreign Trade Statistics. IMTS is one of the designated statistics released by PSA, which was approved under Executive Order No. 352 - Designation of Statistical Activities That Will Generate Critical Data for Decision Making of the Government and the Private Sector.

Release Date:
The compilation of approved investments in the Philippines started in 1991 through the Foreign Investments Information System (FIIS) project1 which aimed to develop an integrated approach for generating and reporting foreign direct investments (FDI). This project was done when statistics on FDI are being reported/generated by several agencies that carry out functions relating to management, monitoring, and promotion to attract foreign investments. Since there were a number of agencies involved, the process had often resulted in inconsistent data generation and interpretation because of differences in concepts, definitions, and reporting periods.
