The Value of Production in Agriculture and Fisheries in Sultan Kudarat Grew Annually by 5.2 percent in 2021 (At Constant 2018 Prices)

Among the provinces in SOCCSKSARGEN, Sultan Kudarat recorded the highest annual increment in the value of production in agriculture and fisheries at constant 2018 prices with 5.2 percent. Next to this was Sarangani at 3.5 percent and Cotabato at 1.1 percent. In contrast, value of production in South Cotabato declined by -4.6 percent. (Figure 1)

South Cotabato had the largest share to the total value of production in agriculture and fisheries at constant 2018 prices with 43.4 percent. The province was also the biggest contributor in livestock with 54.3 percent, poultry with 79.1 percent, and fisheries with 78.8 percent. Cotabato had the largest contribution for crops at 37.6 percent.

At current prices, South Cotabato recorded the highest value of production in agriculture and fisheries among the provinces in SOCCSKSARGEN amounting to PhP 65.44 billion. This was followed by Cotabato at PhP 38.18 billion and Sultan Kudarat at PhP 21.54 billion. Sarangani had the least at PhP 16.25 billion.
