Bukidnon had the Highest Annual Increment in the Value of Production in Agriculture and Fisheries at 6.8 percent in 2021 (At Constant 2018 Prices)

The value of production in agriculture and fisheries at constant 2018 prices in Bukidnon had the highest annual increase among the provinces in Northern Mindanao at 6.8 percent in 2021. Expansions were also exhibited in the value of production in Camiguin at 1.4 percent. However, annual drops were recorded in the value of production in Misamis Oriental (-4.6%),Misamis Occidental (-1.1%), and Lanao del Norte (-0.04%). (Figure 1)

The major contributor to the region’s total value of production in agriculture and fisheries at constant 2018 prices was Bukidnon at 57.6 percent. In particular, the province had the highest value of production for crops at 66.4 percent, livestock at 60.9 percent, and poultry at 47.9 percent. For fisheries, Lanao del Norte posted the largest share at 70.0 percent.

At current prices, Bukidnon registered the highest value of production which amounted to PhP 126.38 billion. The respective value of production in Lanao del Norte, Misamis Oriental, and Misamis Occidental amounted to PhP 35.03 billion,PhP 33.53 billion, and PhP 20.27 billion. Meanwhile, the least value of production was recorded in Camiguin at PhP 2.20 billion.
