The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) now offers online registration for interested participants to the 13th National Convention on Statistics (NCS) which will be held on 3-4 October 2016, at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City.
Conducted every three years, the NCS is the country’s biggest gathering of statisticians, academicians, statistical practitioners, data users, and other stakeholders of statistics to discuss recent advances and emerging challenges in statistics as well as share opinions and recommendations to further improve the capacity of the PSS.
Interested participants may now register online at https://conventions.psa.gov.ph/node/add/ncs-registration.
To avail of discounts, payments must be made on or before 16 August 2016. Registration payments can be in cash or check payable to “Philippine Statistics Authority” thru the PSA Central Office or at the nearest PSA Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) (https://psa.gov.ph/directory). Bank deposits can also be made through PSA’s Land Bank of the Philippines Trust Fund Account No. 0052-1418-26.
Participants who register online must secure a printed copy of the e-mail from “Philippine Statistics Authority Conventions” confirming their registration. A copy of the proof of payment (official receipt or deposit slip) must be presented at the registration booth during the NCS.
