The Philippine Statistical System (PSS) through the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is now calling for paper presenters for the 13th National Convention on Statistics (NCS) in October 2016. The 13th NCS is a two-day event which features 1) plenary sessions; 2) invited and contributed paper presentations; 3) panel discussions; 4) poster sessions on various topics; and 5) a commercial exhibit showcasing latest statistical products and innovations. Statisticians, researchers, academicians and data users will once again gather for this triennial event to discuss, share ideas and recommendations on recent advances on improving statistics in the country. Furthermore, it will be an avenue to further enhance the PSS and an avenue for academicians, statistical practitioners and even students to relay the results of their statistical researches and case studies. The 13th NCS will coincide with the Opening Ceremony of the 27th National Statistics Month in October 2016.
