PSA Approves the Conduct of the 2020 Annual Poverty Indicators Survey (APIS)

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) approves the conduct of the 2020 Annual Poverty Indicators Survey (APIS) which will be conducted as rider survey to the July 2020 Round of the Labor Force Survey (LFS).

The APIS is designed to provide estimates for non-income poverty indicators and gather data on the socio-economic profile of families and other information that are related to their living conditions which serve as inputs to the estimation of Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI).

PSA Renews the Clearance of 2020 Retail Price Surveys

To provide essential information on retail prices and other relevant information of selected commodities in selected major trading centers throughout the country, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) granted clearance for the conduct of the 2020 Retail Price Surveys (RPS) to be undertaken nationwide. These surveys aim to collect data for the generation of Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Retail Price Index (RPI), and monitoring of prices of agricultural commodities.

The National Economic and Development Authority and the Philippine Statistics Authority Conduct the Business Rapid Assessment Survey for Agriculture and Fisheries

On behalf of the Inter-Agency Task Force's Technical Working Group (IATF-TWG) on Anticipatory and Forward Planning, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the Business Rapid Assessment Survey for Agriculture and Fisheries (BRASAF).The said undertaking will be a rider survey to eight (8) agriculture and fisheries surveys of the PSA, namely Palay Production Survey (PPS), Corn Production Survey (CPS), Crops Production Survey (CrPS), Commercial Livestock and Poultry Survey (CLPS), Quarterly Commercial Fisheries Surveys (

PSA Grants Clearance for the Conduct of the Local Government Unit Survey on Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Services

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) granted clearance for the conduct of the Local Government Unit (LGU) Survey on Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Services by the Philippine Institute of Development Studies (PIDS) in cooperation with the Department of Health (DOH).

The National Economic and Development Authority and the Philippine Statistics Authority Conduct the Business and Consumer Rapid Assessment Surveys

On behalf of the Inter-Agency Task Force’s Technical Working Group (TWG) on Anticipatory and Forward Planning, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the Business and Consumer Rapid Assessment Surveys. The Business Rapid Assessment Survey (BRAS) will be a rider to the April round of the 2020 Quarterly Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) while the Consumer Rapid Assessment Survey (CRAS) will be a rider survey to the PSA's April round of the 2020 Labor Force Survey.
