The online press conference was attended by PSA and NEDA personnel and moderators, and media practitioners.
The virtual press briefing was led by Acting Socioeconomic Secretary Karl Kendrick T. Chua and Undersecretary Dennis S. Mapa. The revised and rebased National Accounts of the Philippines (NAP) from the previous base 2000 to the new base 2018 was briefly discussed by Usec. Mapa. The report on the 2020 Q1 Performance of the Philippine Economy was followed by the statement of the Acting Socioeconomic Secretary. The press briefing was then concluded by question and answer. Attuned to PSA’s continuing endeavor towards making its products and services digitally available to people, PSA moves forward to conduct such initiatives frequently.
