Advisory

Release Date:

Wednesday, September 2, 2020

In compliance with the Inter-agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-EID) directive to suspend large conferences, and mass gatherings as well as foreign travels, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) defers the conduct of the triennial International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (ICSDGS), which was initially scheduled on 02 to 04 September 2020. The deferment is also pursuant to the National Budget Circular No. 580 supporting priority national government programs to respond to prevailing public health, and safety concerns as well as travel restrictions to put a stop to the spread of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the country.

While the PSA recognizes the importance of the ICSDGS, everyone’s health and safety is an important priority during this pandemic.

The general public is encouraged to regularly check our website (https://psa.gov.ph/) for future announcements on latest releases, updates and activities on Sustainable Development Goals statistics in the Philippines.
